Fifteen Chinese military aircraft, including twelve fighter jets and three bombers, entered Taiwan精东影业 Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ) on January 24, 2021. The incursion prompted Biden精东影业 administration to renew the support of the United States vis-a-vis Taiwan精东影业 sovereignty.

Coincidentally, an aircraft carrier group led by the USS Theodore Roosevelt entered the South China Sea region on January 24, 2021. Escorted by one guided-missile cruiser and two guided-missile destroyers, the aircraft carrier embarks the F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter jets of Carrier Air Wing Eleven. The goal of this scheduled deployment to the U.S. 7th Fleet is to promote 鈥渇reedom of the seas, and reassuring allies and partners,鈥 said Doug Verissimo, commander of the strike group. 鈥淲ith two-thirds of the world精东影业 trade traveling through this very important region, it is vital that we maintain our presence and continue to promote the rules-based order which has allowed us all to prosper.鈥
