Saudi Arabia精东影业 flag carrier听Saudi Arabian Airlines Corporation (SAUDIA)听signed a purchase听deal with CFM听International听for 149 LEAP-1A engines to power its fleet of听30听Airbus听A320neo听and听35听A321neo听aircraft.听The agreement听is valued at $8.5 billion at听the list听price.听The purchase agreement also includes听services for both new and old engines.听听

According to the statement, Saudi Arabian Airlines operates听61 CFM56-5B-powered Airbus A320ceos听and A321ceo aircraft. In addition, SAUDIA精东影业 low-cost arm听flyadeal听operates 11 CFM56-5B-powered A320ceos and five A320neos powered with LEAP-1A听engines.听听
