Start-up airline Fly Arna has revealed its new livery, showcasing the visual brand identity of its fleet.
Fly Arna is Armenia精东影业 new national airline and a joint venture between the Armenian government-owned investment fund ANIF and United Arab Emirates low-cost carrier, Air Arabia Group.
The joint venture was created in July 2021.
According to a statement made by the airline, its logo and branding colors were inspired by the Armenian flag and reflect 鈥渢he young, modern and a value-driven national carrier that strives to become the most accessible and sensible choice for air travel in Armenia and beyond鈥.
Fly Arna has opted to display the letter 鈥楢鈥 on the aircraft tail, which symbolizes a forward-looking airline as well as 鈥渞eflects clarity鈥. The carrier also aims to express its unique brand through the aircraft interior and staff uniforms.

The carrier精东影业 name was selected from 500 proposals in a naming competition. The competition, which ended in September 2021, attracted more than 800 participants. The winning option, Fly Arna, is derived from 鈥楢rmenian National Airlines鈥 by combining the first two letters of the country精东影业 name and the word 鈥榓irlines鈥.

鈥淭he new name represents the aspirations of the people of Armenia and is the result of a national competition, underlining how the joint venture company prioritizes the interests of the community,鈥 Air Arabia精东影业 CEO Adel Al Ali explained at the time.
Fly Arna will operate as a low-cost air carrier from its home base at Yerevan精东影业 Zvartnots International Airport (EVN). So far, neither the ANIF nor Air Arabia has disclosed any further details regarding a potential launch date for the airline, its fleet or its network.
