It does not appear that the soon to depart CEO has internalized that ‘production’ is a second tier priority to the three key features of success: Reliability, Reliability, Reliability. Reliability of commercial aviation demands that passengers (and freight) arrive SAFELY at their intended destinations every time, RELIABLY as scheduled, and RELIABLY without ANY!! aircraft idiosyncratic drama or danger. I have current and previous Boeing employees among my circle of friends and aquaintances. Those still living tell me they don’t recognize the current incarnation of this once amazing company.
