Dublin Airport expects 432,000 passengers over St Patrick精东影业 long weekend

Dublin Airport (DUB) will be busy welcoming passengers over the long weekend due to the fact that St Patrick精东影业 Day, March 17, 2023, falls on a Friday this year. 

DUB精东影业 airport operator, daa, expects around 432,000 passengers to pass through DUB airport over the coming long weekend, with 220,000 passengers forecasted to depart between Thursday, March 16, 2023 and Monday, March 20, 2023.

It is expected to be an extra festive long weekend, because on top of St Patrick’s Day on Friday, a rugby match between Ireland and England is also scheduled for Saturday, March 18, 2023. 

Passengers passing through DUB airport over the long weekend will also be welcomed by Irish dancing groups at the arrivals area, organized in partnership with Failte Ireland, the country精东影业 tourism board. 

The airport said that a dedicated team of Failte Ireland 鈥楳eeters and Greeters鈥 will be in DUB Airport精东影业 Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 arrivals halls to guide travelers. 

Due to the anticipated busy travel period, DUB airport advises passengers traveling on short-haul flights to arrive at the airport two hours before their flight and three hours prior to a long-haul flight.

Passengers with checked in bags should allow up to an additional one hour.
