Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo announced on April 3, 2024, that the two airlines have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to cooperate on routes between India and Malaysia.
Through this agreement, Malaysia Airlines and IndiGo will codeshare on some routes, and commercialize flights on each other精东影业 networks, with the aim of facilitating the more seamless transfer of passengers between points in India and Southeast Asia.

India is Malaysia Airlines鈥 largest international market, with the carrier currently operating 71 weekly flights between its hub in Kuala Lumpur (KUL) and New Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), Bengaluru (BLR), Chennai (MAA), Hyderabad (HYD), Kochi (COK), Ahmedabad (AMD), Amritsar (ATQ) and Thiruvananthapuram (TRV).
IndiGo currently flies nonstop between Chennai (MAA) and Kuala Lumpur.
